Job summary

Glen Mills Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Wellness Associate to assist residents with daily living activities and support engaging activities. The role emphasizes compassion, dignity, and teamwork within a warm senior living environment.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing activities, motivating participation, and maintaining accurate documentation in Residentrecords and Move N.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in assisting with daily living activities and activities programming is expected.
• Ability to create and motivate participation in activities is required.
• Accurate documentation in Resident records and Move N is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with all daily living activities (hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulating).
• Support Life Stories activities and programming to minimize resident stress.
• Develop/implement activities and motivate residents to participate daily.
• Provide teamwork support to other Resident Wellness Associates to ensure task completion.
• Document clearly and accurately in Residentrecords and Move N.

Assists Residents with all daily life functions (ADL’s: hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulating, etc.) in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring dignity and respect, by using techniques learned in Life Stories Training to minimize Resident stress and maximize cooperation through dignity and empathy. Ensures staff follow through is the same in absence of Life Stories Director or Life Stages Coordinator to include activity programming. Ability to assist in the development and implementation of activities is required. The abilityto create interest in the activities and motivate Residents to participate daily is required. Creativity and motivational skills necessary. Provides assistance and support to other Resident Wellness Associates to ensure task completion and teamwork. Completes documentation clearly and accurately in Residentrecords and Move N.

Schedule: Full-time 1st shift (7am-3pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) including every other weekend

Wage: $18.00-$19.00/hr

*Additional $1/hr for active CNA license
