Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Resident Assistant/Caregiver. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, grooming, meals, and social interactions, to support comfort and independence.

You will monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being, document tasks, and communicate needs clearly to the Health Care Director.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift

Requirements

• Prefer: Previous experience in a similar role
