Job summary

Plymouth Housing in Seattle, WA seeks a Resident Well-Being Manager (RWM) to lead the on-site care team, ensuring high-quality services for residents and fostering a sense of community.

The role supervises staff, coordinates with providers, and supports housing stability through trauma-informed care, equity, and housing-first principles. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in case management, housing, or homeless services, or a similar client service setting.
  • Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the onsite Resident Well-Being care team, including hiring, orientation, mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Resident Well-Being to organize care team meetings and communicate expectations, outcomes, and priorities clearly across individual and team settings.
  • Build and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where residents experience trusting, professional relationships with staff.
  • Work cooperatively with behavioral health providers and internal teams to support residents' emotional wellness, stability, and case management goals.
  • Ensure residents receive quality case management services, serving as backup for Case Managers during absences and attending resident and community meetings as needed.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of eligibility and benefits for public and private financial assistance and health care programs to ensure resident needs and rights are met.
  • Maintain familiarity with the local service-provider community and collaborate with property management and community partners to support resident stability and housing.
  • Ensure staff receive comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training, including conflict resolution, emergency response, harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Monitor daily log entries and case management documentation to ensure quality, consistency, and timely follow-up on emerging issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate on funder-required reporting, credit card expense reviews, and timesheet accuracy.
  • Participate in Plymouth committees and workgroups as appropriate.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Resident Well-Being Manager (RWM) leads the onsite Resident Well-Being care team that is committed to supporting the well-being of residents. This role ensures that services are provided to residents and foster a sense of community. They are responsible for maintaining high quality service delivery of programs based on the values inherent in Plymouth’s mission, the principles of cultural proficiency, the tenets of harm reduction and trauma informed care, and the ‘housing first’

philosophy.

The RWM provides support, direction, and oversight to the teams that collaborate most closely with the residents, and ensures high quality, positive and cohesive resident-based interactions,

engagement and strategies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong organizational ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines professionally.
  • Demonstrated experience managing crisis situations and developing sustained, collaborative relationships with community agencies.
  • Commitment to quality assurance, including regular review of team documentation, with proven experience in group training and facilitation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort working with customized databases, technology, and internet research.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and resident dignity in all aspects of work.
