Harmony Senior Services in Douglasville, GA, is seeking a Transportation Concierge/Van Driver to provide safe transportation for residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips. The role supports the activity department, maintains logs and receipts, and ensures van cleanliness and timely maintenance.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities, adhering to policies, attending in-services, and performing related duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and provide DMV copy.
• Must hold a current driver's license for vehicle type used.
• Polite and considerate to residents, visitors, coworkers and supervisor.
• Organized and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically and mentally capable of performing job duties.
• Able to ascend/descend stairs, operate wheelchair lift, and push a resident in a wheelchair.
• Professional appearance; may wear a designated uniform.
• Flexible schedule including some weekend/evening hours.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips sponsored through the activity department.
• Maintain mileage log, repair log, trip and expenses; submit receipts to Life Enrichment Director.
• Keep van clean inside and out; report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Assist Activities/Programming Department with activities as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures; attend in-services and staff meetings.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
