Job summary

Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Durango, CO is seeking a dependable Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and outings. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Director and Administrator, this role supports facility operations year-round.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification is considered a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and outings using the facility van or bus.
• Coordinate transportation schedules with facility staff to ensure timely arrivals.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, maintaining comfort and safety.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain mileage logs and trip sheets.
• Follow transportation policies and report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
