Eastgate Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Resident Transport Driver to assist with transporting residents to medical appointments and other approved destinations. This role requires safe resident handling, punctual arrivals, and clear communication with nursing staff about departures, delays, and returns.

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• CNA license in Rhode Island is recommended.
• Dependable, punctual, able to manage appointment-based schedules, and on call.
• Comfortable working with elderly and residents with mobility limitations.
• Ability to safely assist residents with wheelchairs and mobility equipment.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Must meet all facility transportation requirements.

• Follow all facility transportation, safety, infection-control, and resident-rights procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the facility vehicle.
• Complete required transportation logs and documentation.
• Provide residents with courteous, respectful, and professional assistance throughout transportation.

• Safely accommodate residents using wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices.
• Ensure residents arrive at appointments on time and are returned to the facility promptly.
• Maintain communication with nursing staff regarding departures, appointments, delays, and resident returns.

Qualifications
