Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Chester, VA seeks a Transportation Concierge/Van Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips.

You will maintain routes, logs, and a clean vehicle, assist the activities department, and work with a team to serve residents with courtesy.

A high school diploma, clean DMV record, valid driver's license for the vehicle, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work some weekends and evenings are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a safe driving record and provide a copy of DMV record.
• Must have current driver’s license designated to operate the type of vehicle used by the community.
• Must be organized and willing to work with others as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide van transportation to residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips sponsored through the activity department.
• Assist in developing routes and schedules based on resident needs and requests.
• Keep mileage log, repair log, trip and expenses as required; keep receipts for expenses and submit them to Life Enrichment Director.
• Keep van clean inside and out. Ensure routine maintenance and needed repairs are performed in a timely manner.
• Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor and Harmony Senior Services immediately.
• Assist Activities/Programming Department with activities as assigned.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the department.
• Attend all required in-services and staff meetings.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.
