Job summary

Wexford House in Kingsport, Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Transportation Aide to join our care team. This full-time role supports residents by transporting them to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other approved destinations.

Responsibilities include assisting residents in and out of vehicles, using safety belts and mobility aids, and coordinating transport times with nursing staff and appointment offices.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, hospital visits, therapy sessions, and other authorized destinations.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring proper use of safety belts, lifts, and other mobility aids.
• Maintain communication with nursing staff, facility scheduler, and appointment offices to coordinate transport times and updates.
