Job summary

Orchard View Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsport, TN, seeks a Transportation Aide/Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and outings while delivering excellent service and managing the transportation calendar.

You will assist residents during transport, conduct routine vehicle safety checks, and coordinate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure smooth scheduling and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Long-term Care/skilled Nursing Experience Preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments and outings safely.
• Assist residents during transport, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and maintain transport logs.
• Communicate transportation schedules with nursing and administrative staff.
