Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Portland Rehab & Wellness Center in Portland, TN is seeking a Transportation Aide to move residents to appointments, community events, and on-floor tasks. The role supports safe, respectful resident transport, requires strong customer service, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

A CNA background is helpful but not required for hire. Ideal candidates will hold a current CPR certificate and a valid Tennessee driver’s license with limited incidents.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification preferred, or willingness to complete a state-approved CNA program and become a CNA within six months of hire.
• Current/active CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license with no more than 3 entries; counting accidents, moving violations, and failures to appear.
• Customer service oriented, able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments, community events, and others as needed.
• Confirm doctors’ appointments for residents.
• Notify family of arrangements regarding appointments.
• Monitor daily documentation and filing.
• All other duties as assigned.
