Job summary

Morningside Elite Management is seeking a Driver to transport residents and run errands, assisting residents in loading and unloading and ensuring their safe return to the facility. The role requires maintaining current vehicle documents and a neat vehicle appearance, with prompt response to accidents and coordination of maintenance.

The position emphasizes safety, professional conduct, and support for activities/outings while maintaining a positive relationship with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Clean driving record is required.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents and performs community errands as assigned, ensuring residents are returned safely to the building.
• Assists all residents in and out of the vehicle.
• Ensures vehicle inspection tags, license and insurance cards are current and displayed properly.
• Maintains clean appearance of the vehicle(s) through regular interior/exterior cleaning.
• Responds to accidents and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
• Reports mechanical needs and coordinates necessary vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations).
• Serves as activity/outing support as requested.
• Maintains a safe working environment and promotes safety practices.
• Maintains a positive, professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and coworkers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
