Job summary

Morningside Elite Management seeks a dependable Driver in Maryland to transport residents and run community errands, ensuring all residents are returned safely to the building.

You will assist residents in and out of the vehicle, perform basic vehicle maintenance scheduling, and help coordinate routine oil changes and tire rotations as needed, while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License is required.
• Clean driving record is required.
• High school diploma or GED or related experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents and runs community errands, ensuring residents return safely.
• Assists residents in and out of the vehicle.
• Keeps vehicle inspection tags, license and insurance current and displayed.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness with regular interior/exterior cleaning.
• Responds to accidents and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
• Reports mechanical needs and coordinates maintenance and repairs.
• Supports activities/outings as requested.
• Maintains a safe working environment and professional demeanor.

Driver - Duties:

• Transports residents and performs community errands as assigned, and ensuresthat all residents who use the transportation are returned safely to the building.




• Assists all residents in and out of the vehicle.




• Ensures all vehicle inspection tags, license and insurance cards are current andisplayed properly.




• Maintains clean appearance of the vehicle(s) by performing/scheduling regularinterior/exterior cleaning.




• Responds immediately and appropriately to all accidents and emergencies.




• Reports mechanical needs and repairs, and assist in coordination of necessary




• vehicle maintenance and repair service such as oil changes and tire rotations.




• Serves as activity/outing support as requested.




• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention ofaccidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe workingpractices.




• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors andco-workers.




• Performs other duties as assigned.

Driver - Qualifications:
