Qualifications

• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Willingness and ability to communicate effectively in English; speaking, reading and writing.
• Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must have basic or better computer skills.
• Willingness and ability to safely transport residents in a 15-passenger van.
• Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have knowledge, willingness, and ability to perform routine maintenance of vehicles.
• Must be willing and able to work weekends, evenings or holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor vehicles such as a bus or 15-passenger van to transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Transport materials or people between destinations or work areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment as needed.
• Load and unload materials from vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles and check gas, oil, and water before departure; report issues.
