Job summary

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities in Florida is seeking a Senior Motor Vehicle Operator to deliver and pick up food-related items around campus and perform related janitorial duties in the food service department. You will operate vehicles, log deliveries, and maintain accuracy of records while ensuring safety and reliability.

This position requires flexibility to work beyond normal hours during emergencies, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a cooperative, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Load deliver and pick up food carts, count milk and juice accurately.
• Delivers grocery and supplement orders, returning signed order sheets to office.
• Follows established procedures, including maintaining and submitting accurate vehicle logs.
• Use assigned vehicles properly and as directed.
• Ensure keys to vehicles are returned to proper place when not being used.
• Sweep and mop food service building areas assigned.
• Remove trash from all areas, keep kitchen areas clean and sanitary.
• Removes trash and cardboard from kitchen and take it to appropriate areas (recycling/dumpsters).
• Ensure dumpsters remain locked at all times.
• Works tray line, pot room and dish room assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
