Job summary

Sunrise Manor in Amelia, Ohio is seeking a Driver/Transportation Coordinator (Full-Time) to safely transport residents to medical appointments and activities while delivering courteous, professional service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record
• Current STNA certification required
• Experience as a driver/transportation aide in healthcare preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and light vehicle upkeep
• Professional, patient and respectful demeanor

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments and events
• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with laws and facility policies
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles with dignity and safety
• Perform basic vehicle checks and coordinate routine maintenance
• Maintain accurate trip, mileage, and maintenance records
• Communicate with residents, families and staff to confirm transportation needs
• Follow healthcare, infection control and transportation regulations and policies
