CareCore at Lakeridge in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a dependable Transportation & Central Supply Coordinator to join our long-term care team. This dual-role handles resident appointment coordination and safe transportation, while also managing medical supplies and inventory in a fast-paced facility.

The ideal candidate communicates well, stays organized, multitasks efficiently, and adheres to safety policies while safely operating the company vehicle.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience coordinating medical appointments or resident transportation preferred.
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification processes preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities based on facility needs.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working with senior residents.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and coordinate resident medical appointments with outside providers.
• Arrange and provide transportation for residents to and from medical appointments.
• Complete insurance verifications and confirm coverage requirements for scheduled appointments.
• Communicate appointment details and transportation arrangements with residents, families, nursing staff, and outside providers.
• Maintain accurate appointment schedules, transportation logs, and related documentation.
• Ensure residents are transported safely and on time.
• Operate the company vehicle in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Order, receive, organize, and distribute medical supplies throughout the facility.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure nursing departments have necessary supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track supply usage.
• Organize and maintain clean, properly stocked supply areas.
• Work with nursing leadership to identify supply needs and prevent shortages.
• Assist with managing supply costs and minimizing waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily facility operations.
