Job summary

Legacy Nursing is looking for a Transportation Driver to assist residents with commuting to appointments and designated locations. The role supports the nursing team and may involve clerical tasks, scheduling, and staying compliant with facility policies.

You will transport residents safely using the facility vehicle, perform vehicle checks, document hours, and coordinate with the Director of Nursing or Administrator. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
• Clerical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments safely and timely.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform checks.
• Document hours and assist with scheduling and calls.
• Communicate with nursing staff and residents professionally.
• Adhere to HIPAA and facility policies.
