CooperRiis Healing Community in Mill Spring, NC is seeking Residential Support Staff- Direct Care on a PRN basis. The role supports residents with daily activities, safety, and recovery goals.

You will lead and participate in recreational activities, assist with documentation and meds administration as needed, and transport residents for community outings.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience and be at least 21 with a valid license.

• Fill in for our Lodge Advisors as needed.
• Provides support in crisis management.

• Assists with procedures such as urine drug screens, breathalyzer, and medication administration.
• Transports and accompanies residents on community-based trips, outings, recreational, social, and cultural activities.

Pay:

Starting at $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Helps lead recreational, social, and cultural activities
• Encourages participation and can facilitate other activities as needed for residents who aren’t participating in the planned activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience working with adults with mental health challenges
• At least 21 years of age, current driver’s license, and acceptable driving record to be covered by company insurance
