Job summary

Pathways Vermont is seeking a Resident Support Staff member for the Soteria Vermont residence on the 2nd shift. You will support residents through non-judgmental engagement, assist with medications and daily living, and participate in team and All-Staff meetings while maintaining care plans and documentation.

Full-time, hourly non-exempt position offering $21.00/hr with insurance options, PTO, holidays, and retirement benefits; prior mental health or peer-support experience is valued and the

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive required.
• Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form relationships with marginalized individuals.
• Sound judgment and good problem solving skills including assessing risk factors.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to self-reflect and learn new ways of being in relationships.

Responsibilities

• Be with residents with a non-judgmental, non-directive approach.
• Engage in relationship building and support using client-centered approaches.
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings.
• Supervise and join weekly team and all-staff meetings.
• Complete 12 hours of TCR training annually.
• Maintain records and complete program documentation.
• Coordinate referrals to community services and advocate for resident participation.
