Pathways Vermont is seeking a Peer Respite Guest Support Staff in Burlington, VT. The role involves providing peer support, maintaining a welcoming space, and assisting with house operations to support guests in crisis or distress.

The position requires direct lived experience with mental health challenges and willingness to share when appropriate. CPSP process, travel between tasks, and teamwork are essential. Compensation details are provided with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Direct lived experience of mental health crisis and willingness to share when appropriate.
• Experience with peer support approaches and CPSP process is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse guests.

Responsabilités

• Provide confidential peer support using person-centered, strength-based approaches.
• Maintain a welcoming environment by preparing the space for guests.
• Support guests in connecting with community resources and activities as desired.
• Assist with daily house operations and housekeeping following protocols.
• Attend weekly team meetings and required trainings.
