Job summary

HCRS is seeking a Residential Specialist for the 3rd shift Awake Overnight in Springfield, VT. The role focuses on helping individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges achieve independent living and emotional regulation goals.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($20–$23.25), shift and weekend differentials, 4 weeks PTO (pro-rated), 12 sick days, 9 holidays per year, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus and other benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; Associate’s/Bachelor’s preferred in psychology, social work or human services.
• Experience with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in developing independent living skills and emotional regulation to achieve treatment goals.
• Support clients with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
• Maintain compassionate, boundary-based care and promote safety.
