Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Easley, SC is seeking a Supportive Services Coordinator to connect residents with community resources and advocate for their needs, promoting housing stability.

You will coordinate intakes, referrals, workshops, and health services, while building relationships with residents, staff, and partner agencies. A valid driver’s license and 2–3 years in social services are preferred; a bachelor’s in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Two to three years of experience in social services or related field, preferably with elderly, disabled, or family populations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of supportive services, community resources, and resident advocacy.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with residents, staff, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident intakes, assessments, and referrals to programs and services.
• Assist residents with completing forms, interpreting mail, and resolving benefits-related issues.
• Facilitate connections to medical care, hospice services, and wellness resources.
• Help residents obtain adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Distribute educational materials from agencies such as AARP and state/local social service organizations.
• Organize workshops and meetings to inform residents about rules, safety, and benefits.
• Encourage participation in community programs and senior centers.
• Facilitate or assist in forming Tenant Associations and leadership groups.
• Coordinate on-site or mobile health services and preventive screenings.
• Develop and maintain a resource directory of community, state, and local support services.
• Advocate for residents to community partners and promote cost-efficient shared service models.
• Build informal support networks and volunteer opportunities.
• Educate providers on resident needs and barriers to services.
• Fulfill HUD or applicable certifications; maintain confidential records; participate in training and outreach.
