Native American Community Clinic is seeking a compassionate Resident Connections Coordinator in Minneapolis to support residents with housing, benefits, health insurance and essential services. You will partner with housing providers and community agencies to connect people to resources and promote stability.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, strong teamwork, and leadership in resident engagement at the Whinaphe development and clinic partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with homelessness and housing resources.
• Driver’s license and access to a car.
• Experience with adults with mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
• Commitment to Harm Reduction and Housing First model.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and build relationships, explaining the resident services program and offering information and support to access resources.
• Develop supportive professional relationships that empower residents toward self-sufficiency.
• Identify and maintain referral partnerships with local social service agencies to meet basic needs and goals.
• Collaborate with Property Management to assist residents facing eviction and provide timely support.
• Provide flexible services to meet participants’ needs and timelines.
• Facilitate resident meetings and community engagement activities, including leadership councils and workshops.
• Support and lead Whinaphe resident leadership efforts and ensure resident input is heard.
