Job summary

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region in Belcamp, MD is hiring a Community Living Coach-DSP to support people in a dignified, integrated setting. This full-time role performs personal care, daily living assistance, transportation, and documentation to ensure safety and quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.

CPR/First Aid and CNA/GNA certifications are preferred, with at least a high school diploma.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Two (2) years’ experience in a residential setting is preferred.
CNA/GNA Certification preferred.
CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Empower supported individuals to live, work, and thrive in a person-centered environment.
Assist with personal care tasks as needed.
Support daily living skills like meal planning, shopping, grooming, and housekeeping.
Administer medications timely and coordinate with nursing staff when needed.
Document communication, medication, and behavioral logs daily.
Provide transportation to community events and appointments as required.
Maintain safe, clean residence for individuals and staff.
