Job summary

The Courtesy Shuttle Driver for RUPCO Inc. at Willow Landing provides transportation for residents via company shuttle buses with accessible options. This full-time role includes benefits and flexible hours to support resident independence and health.

Greet residents, assist with boarding, comply with NYS driving laws, perform inspections, log daily mileage, and report incidents to management. Requires NYS driver’s license and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma recommended.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience working with young people, seniors, and individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Clean driving record acceptable to auto insurance carrier.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greeting residents who are using courtesy transportation in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Interact and assist residents with boarding and exiting the bus.
• Abide by NYS laws regarding operation of a motor vehicle.
• Ensure passengers are safe and using safety belts and equipment.
• Conduct pre-ride inspections of the bus.
• Clean buses after every run and thoroughly at end of shift.
• Maintain a daily activity log of mileage and passengers.
• Report traffic incidents to management and file reports as required.
• Call police to respond to motor vehicle accidents and document as needed.
• Report conflicts or situations involving tenants during travel.
• Other duties as assigned.
