RUPCO Inc. in Willow Landing is seeking a Per Diem Courtesy Shuttle Driver to transport residents using the agency shuttle buses, including disability accessible options to accommodate mobility devices. The bus routes are local and support residents' appointments and activities to promote independent living and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma recommended.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service preferred.
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents using courtesy transportation in a friendly manner.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the bus.
• Abide by NYS laws and operate the vehicle safely.
• Ensure passengers wear safety belts and use mobility devices properly.
• Conduct pre-ride inspections of the bus.
• Clean buses after each shift and perform deeper cleaning as needed.
• Maintain an activity log of mileage, passengers, and locations.
• Report incidents to management and file required reports.
• Call police for all motor vehicle accidents and document as required.
• Report conflicts with tenants during travel.
• Participate in training and maintain professional relationships.
