Job summary

The Village Active Life Plan Community in Hemet, California, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Driver-Preferred Driver with a Class B license w/ Passenger Endorsement, or a Class C license.

Compensation includes pay scales from $18.50 to $20.60 per hour depending on license type, with ongoing benefits as described. This role requires flexibility, safety, and a customer-focused approach to resident transport and support.

Qualifications

• Class B License with passenger endorsement and valid medical card.
• Valid Class C License.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift wheelchairs and walkers in/out of cars and buses.
• Must present clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Timely pick up/drop off of residents in company vehicles.
• Driving Company Busses on outings, trips and events for our residents.
• Assisting residents in/out of vehicles.
• Assisting residents on/off bus.
• Keep vehicles clean.
• Notifying Supervisor of any immediate vehicle concerns and or safety issues.
• Effective Communication with Staff when transporting residents.
• Being a Team Player
• Assisting activity staff with events when necessary.

Skills
