Gallaher Signature Living in Covina, CA seeks a Transportation Associate to operate community vehicles and golf carts, transporting residents to outings, appointments, and events. You will assist with boarding/exiting, monitor belongings, and ensure safety and dignity per California Title 22.

Job requires a Class B license with Passenger Endorsement, strong service mindset, and the ability to follow regulatory requirements and provide calm, courteous resident interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Strong responsibility, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Understanding residents' social, emotional, and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles and golf carts safely for outings and appointments.
• Assist residents boarding/exiting vehicles; manage belongings and mobility aids.
• Provide supervision and support during transportation and off-site activities.
• Report changes in residents' condition or safety concerns to leadership.
• Perform daily/weekly vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fueling, and readiness for use.
• Communicate with the team via cell phone/radio; follow safety procedures.
