Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Resident Services Manager to bridge residents, families, and service providers, coordinating care, advocating for needs, and ensuring effective communication across teams.

You will work to connect residents with community resources, support care planning, and foster a resident‑centered approach within Administration. Strong English communication and EHR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years experience coordinating services for older adults
  • Experience with care conferences and discharge planning
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems
  • Ability to pass state background check
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly

Responsibilities

  • Support residents and families with physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs via visits and care conferences.
  • Coordinate resident services and resources with community services to promote well‑being.
  • Facilitate communication and advocacy, ensuring families are informed in care decisions.
  • Assist with lease signings, address violations, and support tours for prospective residents.
  • Collaborate with nursing, activities, corporate staff, and external partners for a resident‑centered approach.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director/Administrator.

Job description

Schedule: Full Time | Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (start and end of day is flexible) | 80 hours per pay period
Pay Range: $28-$35/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Resident Services Manager, you’ll be the bridge between residents, families, and the services that support them. Whether assisting with care coordination, advocating for resident needs, or fostering strong communication between families and staff, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring residents feel heard, valued, and supported.

As a Resident Services Manager, You Will
  • Support Residents & Families - Assist residents and families with physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs through one-on-one visits, care conferences, and ongoing support.
  • Coordinate Resident Services & Resources - Connect residents with appropriate community resources, social services, and educational opportunities to promote well-being and independence.
  • Facilitate Communication & Advocacy - Serve as a key point of contact for families, ensuring transparent and compassionate communication regarding resident care, needs, and services. Advocate for residents to ensure their voices are heard in decision-making.
  • Assist with Lease & Tenant Relations - Support lease signings, address lease violations, and help resolve tenant concerns in collaboration with the Executive Director/Administrator. Conduct basic tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams - Work closely with nursing, activities, corporate staff, and external partners to ensure a well-rounded, resident-centered approach to care and service delivery.

This Job Also Requires
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, gerontology, healthcare administration, or a related human services field.
  • 2-5 years of experience coordinating services for older adults, including care conferences and discharge planning.
  • Strong advocacy skills with the ability to professionally support residents and families.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background check.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
