Job summary

UDR, Inc. is seeking a Resident Services Manager 2 for The Flats at Palisades in Richardson, TX to foster a welcoming community and deliver outstanding resident service.

You will supervise staff, manage leasing-related processes, coordinate events, and collaborate with business managers to uphold quality and occupancy targets. This role emphasizes customer relations, administrative duties, and vendor coordination to support smooth community operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• 2–5 years property management experience in onsite office operations, leasing, administration, customer service.
• Minimum of two years’ management or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in customer service positions in hotel properties, rental operations, or related upscale service business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walk the community daily to ensure quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
• Refresh signage and collateral to support occupancy goals.
• Answer resident questions professionally and improve service quality.
• Proactively conduct self-guided or guided tours for prospects and explain short-term rentals and corporate housing opportunities.
• Oversee the Resident Survey Program and follow up on service requests to gauge satisfaction.
• Oversee maintenance-related matters and escalate as needed to resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the Business Manager on financial responsibilities and P-card reconciliation.
• Lead daily/weekly team huddles, hire/train staff, and monitor performance.
• Manage vendor keys and sources for maintaining appearance and systems.
• Prepare and deliver resident communications, review leases, and manage move-ins.
