Job summary

Gene B. Glick Company is seeking an experienced Resident Service Coordinator to assist residents at Valley Ridge apartment communities. The role focuses on case management, referrals, and engagement to promote resident stability in affordable housing contexts.

You will work with the property team to implement resident services plans, develop partnerships with community providers, and monitor program outcomes while coordinating essential services for diverse residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in social work, gerontology, psychology, counseling or related field.
• 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in social service delivery.
• Experience with PC based word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve and deliver results.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Valid Driver’s License in the state of residence.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resident intake, assessments, referrals, and tailored service plans.
• Maintain records of interactions, goals, and outcomes.
• Follow up on lease-violation notices to reduce evictions.
• Coordinate services with property management and resident services team.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and track program outcomes.
• Manage community events and resident engagement activities.
