Job summary

Gene B. Glick Company seeks an experienced Resident Service Coordinator to support residents at Kentwood Square in Kent, OH. This role focuses on coordinating services, developing tailored plans, and fostering resident stability within an affordable housing setting.

The RSC works with property and regional teams to implement the resident services plan, engage residents, and connect with community providers. Flexibility for evenings/weekends and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Counseling or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in social service delivery.
• Experience with PC-based word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve and deliver results.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License in the state of residence.
• Effective verbal and written communication; English proficiency.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident intake and annual assessments; develop tailored service plans.
• Maintain records of resident interactions, goals, and outcomes.
• Follow up on lease violation notices to reduce evictions.
• Coordinate services with property managers and team members.
• Develop and implement resident engagement activities.
• Establish partnerships with community organizations for referrals.
• Collect data to measure program outcomes and prepare reports.
