Job summary

New Avenues to Independence, Inc. is seeking a Residential Coordinator to support individuals with disabilities in our community housing program. You will coordinate services, supervise direct care staff, and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.

You will participate in staff scheduling, training, and on-going program development, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with the Residential Manager to meet funding and service goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• One year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must maintain current PBS certification and CPR/First Aid.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assists Residential Manager in accessing medical and health services for individuals receiving services.
• Provides on-call coverage for caseload and participates in emergency/crisis support.
• Supervises direct care staff, participates in hiring and evaluations.
• Ensures staff coverage, schedules, and overtime within budget.
• Ensures staff training and completion of required documentation and reports.
• Maintains client records and regulatory reporting; supports regulatory audits.
