Who we need:

The Resident Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the living experience for residents within our real estate communities by serving as the primary point of contact for resident needs and concerns. This position is responsible for fostering a welcoming and supportive environment that promotes resident satisfaction and retention. The Coordinator will collaborate closely with property management, maintenance teams, and external service providers to ensure timely resolution of resident issues and the smooth operation of community programs. Additionally, the role involves organizing and facilitating community events and initiatives that encourage resident engagement and build a strong sense of community. Ultimately, the Resident Services Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the property by maintaining positive resident relations and supporting the goals of the management team.

What you’ll do:
  • Serve as the main liaison between residents and property management, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate and implement resident engagement programs, including community events, workshops, and informational sessions to foster a vibrant community atmosphere.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, service requests, and follow-ups to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and leasing teams to facilitate timely resolution of maintenance issues and support leasing activities as needed.
  • Provide resources and referrals to residents for local services, social programs, and support networks to enhance their quality of life.
What we’re looking for:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in resident services, property management, social services, or a related customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in using property management software and standard office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in real estate development, property management, or affordable housing sectors.
  • Familiarity with local community resources, social service agencies, and resident support programs.
  • Certification in community outreach, conflict resolution, or related professional development courses.
  • Bilingual abilities or proficiency in additional languages relevant to the resident population.
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and community engagement initiatives.
  • Skills: The Resident Services Coordinator utilizes strong communication skills daily to effectively address resident concerns and build trust within the community. Organizational skills are essential for managing multiple resident requests, coordinating events, and maintaining detailed records. Problem-solving abilities enable the Coordinator to identify resident needs and collaborate with internal teams to provide timely solutions. Proficiency with property management software and office tools supports efficient tracking of service requests and communication. Additionally, interpersonal skills foster positive relationships with residents and community partners, enhancing overall resident satisfaction and community cohesion.
