Job summary

Mutual Housing California is seeking a dedicated professional to support residents and build equitable communities. This role contributes to housing stability and community empowerment through direct services and collaboration with staff.

The Resident Services Coordinator will assist residents with benefits, budgeting, and referrals, coordinate community activities, and maintain clear documentation. 30+ hours weekly, Monday–Friday, Sacramento, CA.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in social services; property-based experience a plus.
• Cultural competency and experience working in diverse, low-income communities.
• Strong communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; CPR/First Aid & food safety certs provided.
• Driver’s license required.
• Background screening including education verification and DMV check.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with residents and host community-building activities.

$23.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Our Resident Services team connects Mutual Housing affordable housing residents with opportunity through a wide range of direct services and community building strategies. Resident Service Coordinators (RSCs) are responsible for providing a variety of services that promote these goals.

Responsibilities:

• Support residents with housing stability, public benefits, budgeting, and referrals
• Provide mediation, crisis support, and coordination with Property Management
• Build relationships with residents and host community-building activities
• Connect residents with local programs, services, and leadership opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and service plans
