Job summary

STYL Residential is seeking a Resident Services Manager at The View at Shelby Farms in Cordova, TN. The role focuses on delivering exceptional resident service, managing inquiries, organizing events, and ensuring a positive living environment while coordinating with leasing and maintenance teams.

The position requires 2+ years in multi-family property management, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Weekend availability and a customer‑centric approach are key.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years direct experience in multi-family property management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
• Knock and One Site experience preferred.
• Demonstrate diligence, patience, diplomacy, follow-through, tact, fairness, integrity, and common sense.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents' inquiries, requests, and concerns, maintaining through communication and the ability to respond to residents to avoid escalation of problems.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
• Address resident complaints and issues promptly and effectively, striving for timely resolution.
• Assist with leasing activities, including showing available units to prospective tenants, conducting tours, and explaining rental terms and policies.
• Perform marketing and leasing functions to maintain budgeted or greater occupancy for the property.
• Collaborate with the leasing team to ensure a smooth move-in process for new residents.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute community events and activities aimed at enhancing resident engagement and satisfaction.
• Organize social gatherings, educational workshops, and recreational events to foster a sense of community within the property.
• Oversee the usage and maintenance of on-site amenities, such as fitness centers, pools, and communal spaces.
• Ensure amenities are clean, functional, and accessible to residents while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, requests, and lease agreements.
• Communicate important information, updates, and announcements to residents via newsletters, email, or other appropriate channels.
• Assist with rent collection, delinquency management/collections and evictions.
• Acts as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the property manager by organizing and delegating daily work, coordinating maintenance and make-ready tasks with the maintenance supervisor and managing the operation of the community in compliance with Company policies, procedures and business practices.
• Stay informed about relevant housing regulations, lease agreements, and property policies.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and regulations in all resident interactions and transactions.
• Collaborate with property management staff, maintenance personnel, and other relevant teams to address resident needs and maintain the property's overall functionality.
• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to enhance team effectiveness and property performance.
