Job summary

Region Ten CSB seeks a dedicated Medication Technician to support residents at Town Creek Assisted Living in Lovingston, VA. You will assist with daily living activities, coordinate medical appointments, and ensure accurate documentation and confidentiality in a regulated environment.

Candidate will have at least 1 year of direct care experience; certification training will be provided, and a Virginia driver’s license is required for travel as needed. Full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of direct care work experience in a long-term care facility or residential program preferred.
• Medication Technician Certification to be obtained; training will be provided.
• Two years toward college degree in human services or LPN.
• RMA preferred; Virginia driver’s license required for travel if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and supervision.
• Coordinate appointments and transportation for medical visits.
• Verify and file documentation for benefits and medical claims.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Contribute to staff meetings and participate in program planning.
