Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living of Hallowell is hiring a Resident Services Assistant to support residents and coordinate care information. This role emphasizes accuracy in handling physician orders, service plans, and medication-related tasks within a collaborative care environment.

You will transcribe orders, manage monthly notes, and assist with schedules while maintaining high standards of safety and quality for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CRMA certification.
• Strong command of the English language with the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• A current, valid Maine driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required.
• Must provide immunization/immunity proof for MMR, Varicella and Influenza.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt of pre-admission resident care information (physician orders, H&P).
• Coordinate monthly progress notes and service plan updates.
• Schedule/manage resident medical and other appointments.
• Complete and transmit pharmacy orders/reorders; track for timely medication provision.
• Notify physician of significant changes in resident status when directed.
• Transcribe physician orders and manage scheduling/signatures.
• Enter clinical data into the system (physician orders, resident face sheet, MDS-RCA, service plans).
• Fulfill staff responsibilities to meet required service levels.

What you will do as a Resident Services Assistant:

• Coordinate receipt of pre-admission resident care information such as physician orders, H&P, standing orders.
• Coordinate completion of monthly progress note including significant changes and implementation of the service plan. May be responsible for completion of some monthly progress notes as assigned.
• Schedule/manage resident medical and other appointments.
• Complete and transmit pharmacy orders/reorders. Tracks orders/reorders to ensure timely provision of medication to residents.
• Provide physician notification of significant changes in resident status as directed by nurse when available or as needed.
• Transcribe physician orders (including any scheduling, cross reference updating, or signatures required).
• Performs clinical software data entry including physician orders, resident face sheet, MDS-RCA and service plans.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Must hold an active CRMA certification
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza
• A current, valid license to operate a vehicle in the state of Maine and a driving record that is satisfactory to the company may be required
