Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Security Associate to perform day-to-day safety and security activities across our life plan communities, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will respond to emergencies, monitor security systems, and help maintain high-quality care standards.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, possess security or emergency response training, and are willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Security or emergency response training preferred.
• First Aid certified or willing to obtain in a reasonable timeframe.
• CPR certified or willing to obtain in a reasonable timeframe.
• Two years experience in a security, safety, and/or emergency response position preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and security of facilities and grounds.
• Responds to resident emergencies and requests for assistance.
• Investigates unusual or suspicious circumstances and logs activities.
• Notifies managers on duty for significant incidents and follows aging-in-place protocols.
• Locks/unlocks buildings as required and supports incident response.
