Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist to treat residents by teaching exercises to strengthen or stretch muscles and alleviate pain.

You will consult with residents on symptoms and develop personalized rehabilitation plans, while offering encouragement and support throughout the process. Responsibilities include following facility policies, coordinating with the rehabilitation team, documenting treatments for billing and charting, and supervising PTA’s and aides as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect.
• Maintain an accurate daily record of treatments given to patients for billing and charting.
• Provide in-service education to facilities, supportive staff, students and the Facility.
