Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Resident Quality Engineer to reinforce quality across supplier sites and production processes. You will deploy containment, perform root-cause analyses, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

You will lead supplier recovery plans, monitor process improvements, and collaborate with industrial engineering to raise capability and product quality. Travel 20–30% is required domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving and process improvement expertise.
• Hands‑on experience in Kaizen, supplier recovery, and critical manufacturing process reviews.
• Extensive experience in quality methodologies and manufacturing management with cross‑functional teams (turbine hot gas parts).
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% (domestic & international).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deploy to supplier sites as a dedicated quality escalation resource to stabilize production following disruptions.
• Lead containment activities to protect customers and maintain production continuity.
• Develop and manage supplier recovery plans with clear actions, milestones, and reporting.
• Conduct root cause analyses to identify true failure mechanisms.
• Perform process audits and manufacturing reviews to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Define, implement, and validate corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with supplier engineering and operations to improve process capability and product quality.
• Monitor and sustain improvements through on-site reviews and performance data.
