Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for the Gas Services Central team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring quality across PPQ processes and manufacturing stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong root cause facilitation and CAPA development skills.
• Experience applying continuous improvement methods to manufacturing quality and cost.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma philosophies and their application.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analyses and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure safety and quality requirements are met during component manufacturing and PPQ processes.
• Apply Quality standards and concepts to defined targets and processes.
• Develop manufacturing processes and quality controls to meet product requirements (pFMEA, QC measures).
• Coordinate ITP and QST alignment with customer requirements and procurement/manufacturing processes.
• Conduct process audits and drive continuous improvement across Steam Turbines manufacturing.
