Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier qualification, PPQ, and quality improvements worldwide. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage root-cause analyses, and partner with design engineers during reviews to support DT/ DTC efforts.

You will lead supplier audits, ensure compliance with ISO/ASME standards, and coach suppliers toward Siemens Energy’s quality processes while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or similar.
• Master’s degree preferred; relevant education/training considered as equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in a technical field or supply chain.
• Experience in supplier qualification, product/process qualification and technical supplier development.
• Ability to lead projects and virtual cross-functional teams in an international setting.
• Welding and coating knowledge; CWI preferred; NACE/AMPP/FROSIO desired.
• Familiarity with ISO and ASME standards; strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; basic commercial knowledge.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
• Lead Auditor experience or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and control supplier qualification activities with cross-functional teams.
• Lead PPQ (Product & Process Qualification) with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Plan and optimize Supplier Quality Management Process to ensure quality and cost targets.
• Initiate supplier quality improvement programs and conduct root cause analysis.
• Interface between SQM and design engineers during design reviews and involve suppliers early.
