Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions, LLC is seeking an Apartment Community Manager to oversee residential properties, maintenance, and tenant satisfaction. You will coordinate maintenance, manage staff, and enforce rental terms while ensuring a positive tenant experience.

The role requires managing rent collection, budgeting, property showings, and coordinating with service providers. Weekend availability, conflict resolution, and knowledge of rental laws are important for success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in property management software (Yardi and/or One Site).
• 1–2 years of apartment management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to be a strong team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Able to tour the community with clients, walking the property and stairs.
• Diffuse conflict and solve problems.
• Knowledge of rental contracts and anti-discrimination laws.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collecting rent and other property fees from tenants and owners.
• Paying property expenses (taxes, mortgages, payroll, insurance, maintenance).
• Report property's financial status, occupancy and expiring leases to owners.
• Meet prospective tenants, show property, assess applications per law.
• Advertise vacancies and hire a leasing agent as needed.
• Inspect properties and arrange repairs and new materials.
• Arrange contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security; manage disputes.
• Investigate and resolve property complaints and violations.
