Job summary

Senior Living Residences in Hampton, NH is seeking a patient and creative Programming Assistant to assist the Program Director in creating, scheduling and implementing programs for our residents. This part-time role requires empathy, 1+ years with elderly populations, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations.
• Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents.
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.

Responsibilities

• Form meaningful relationships with residents and families;
• Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily programming schedule for 7 days per week;
• Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors;
• Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site;
• Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media
