Senior Living Residences' Farmington Station is seeking a patient, innovative programming assistant to help the Program Director create, schedule and implement programs for our residents. The role emphasizes building relationships with residents, coordinating daily programming seven days a week, and supporting entertainment and outings.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Education, Social Work or related field preferred.
• 1+ years experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Form meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily programming schedule for 7 days per week.
• Support the coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors.
• Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring the safety of residents on transportation and off-site.
• Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media.
