Job summary

The Oaks of LA in Shreveport, LA is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate resident programs in the IL areas of the Oaks of LA Adult Residential Community. You will coordinate volunteers and guest speakers to ensure meaningful activities and resident well‑being.

Responsibilities include maintaining volunteer resources, coordinating with the Relocation Coordinator on turnover, and assisting with billing reviews.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrates willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with IL Director to review resident programs for Garden Apartments.
• Maintains a volunteer resource pool for Garden Apartments.
• Coordinates with Relocation Coordinator on turnover and use of apartments/grounds.
• Ensures guest speakers are contacted and thanked within 48–72 hours.
• Reviews monthly statements and flags errors to billing.
