Job summary

Goldwater Care Marseilles is seeking an experienced Dietary Manager to oversee the Food and Nutrition Services department and ensure quality care for residents. The role focuses on managing meal preparation, special diets, sanitation, and department safety, with an emphasis on compassionate resident-centered service.

The position requires hands-on leadership in a skilled nursing setting, with daily responsibilities to maintain menu execution, staff oversight, and adherence to health regulations.

Qualifications

• Maintain care and use of supplies, equipment, and the appearance of work areas.
• Seek out new methods and incorporate into existing food practices.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and serve meals according to planned menus and diets.
• Prepare and serve residents' nutritional bedtime snacks and substitutions.
• Ensure food, equipment, and supplies meet sanitary regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the department with regular inspections.
• Deliver snacks and meals as instructed and manage service areas.
• Sweep and mop floors in kitchen and dish room as directed.
