Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a Food and Nutrition Aide to provide daily meal service for residents, guests and staff at our facility in Michigan. You will assist with salad preparation, tray setup, and adherence to dietary policies while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate portioning, and reliable attendance. Previous food service experience is desirable; strong personal hygiene and ability to follow directions are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions including some calculations.
• Basic knowledge of attractive food service, sanitation, and safety.
• Manual dexterity required to operate modern office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve salads and desserts using standardized recipes.
• Set up trays quickly and accurately according to posted menu.
• Place foods and utensils on trays according to meal plans and resident preferences.
• Follow directions for modified diets and adhere to portion controls.
• Deliver trays and assist with distribution; return carts to dishwashing area.
