Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Experience in healthcare dietary environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare palatable, attractive, and nutritious meals in institutional quantities.
• Follow recipes and ensure meals meet diet orders and menus.
• Ensure meals are served at proper temperature and times.
• Supervise kitchen staff and assist with tray assembly and storage.
• Maintain clean, sanitary preparation and service areas.
• Participate in inventory, ordering, and storage of supplies.
• Inspect meal trays and report resident feedback to the supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
• Communicate with the Dietary Services Supervisor and staff to meet resident needs.
• Assist with inspections and required survey training.
